Combined Junior/Senior Youth Group Gathering (Grades 6-12)… 7:30-9pm, Friday, October 2 at Kirk.in Glenelg! Outdoor Campfire and games. Following COVID-19 guidelines.
Jumpstart Sunday… back to school, back to work, back to church! An outdoor, combined service with communion will be held at Kirk Memorial United Church in Glenelg, 2pm on Sunday, October 4! Drive –In or bring a chair and sit out on the lawn! There will be activities for children, special music, ice cream and more! Following COVID-19 guidelines.
Sunday Worship for October 11, 18, 25… 9:30am at Bethany in East River St. Mary’s, 11:00am at St. John’s in Sherbrooke, and 7:00pm at Kirk in Glenelg. As part of our COVID-19 Re Entry Plan…hand sanitizer is available, by provincial order the wearing of masks is mandatory (excluding the worship leader), and no congregational singing, passing of the collection plate (plate will be available at the back), or shaking hands will take place. People are reminded to have increased hygiene, and if sick, to stay home. Thank you for your co-operation. Online worship resources continue to be offered.
Thanksgiving Sunday… October 11. Monetary donations or non-perishable food items will be received for St. Mary’s Food Bank. Also personal care kit toiletry items for St. Mary’s Hospital.
JAM Club – Jesus And Me (Our Charge’s Program for children and all ages Sunday School)… 2pm, every second Sunday at Kirk… will resume Sunday, November 1. This year’s theme: God’s Big Top! Following COVID-19 guidelines.
