Bells of Gratitude

bell

Last week we said thank you to the many in our world who are continuing to work to make life easier and better for us all and to keep us safe during this pandemic.

One of our congregants has made a great suggestion to further show our appreciation. At 7am and 7pm daily, the bells at St. John’s United Church in Sherbrooke will ring. These are the shift change times at the hospital and nursing home. May the bells encourage and lift up those who continue to work on the frontlines at this time, and may they be a sign of our gratitude as a community. May they also call us all to prayer.

Again, we especially want to thank those in our own community, including: High Crest Sherbrooke, St. Mary’s Hospital, Clinic and Homecare, St. Mary’s Food Bank, RCMP/Fire Departments/Paramedics, Housing Authority, Clergy, St. Mary’s Education Centre/Academy, all levels of Government and Government Services, Giffin’s Funeral Home, Shopper’s Drugmart, Royal Bank, Clover Farm, Sherbrooke Garage, Bud’s Quickway, Highland Building Centre, and all other businesses and services. Bless you!
